Anna Banana's

Brand Plansbook

Collaborative media plansbook for thrift store client, Anna Banana's. My contributions included: creating design and copy of an advertising campaign targeting over 20,000 individuals, collecting and applying social media analytics to strategy, and rolling out a comprehensive media calender.

Aditorial

"Adetorials" are a form of brand promotion that artfully combines editorial style writing along with graphic design and photography. My intent for this piece was to highlight staple items of clothing you can purchase at Anna Banana's as well as emphasize the target demographic of college students hence the "We're not your Nana's" tagline.

Social Post

"Out with the old in with the used" was the tagline that my team decided on for this campaign. For this social post, I wanted to continue the trend of highlighting staple pieces in a different color to create emphasis on the clothing. The  usage of contour lines in the background is a subtle reference to the mountainous terrain of the mountain town of Boone, North Carolina that Anna Banana's is located in.

Aditorial

In this second "aditorial", I once again continued with the theme of highlighting staple pieces. The use of repetition is a constant in this piece in the images but also the tagline containing alliterations of the letter "C". One of my favorite parts of this piece is the banana patterned background. Although it began as just a simple drawing in illustrator, it soon became a prominent feature throughout our campaign and media plansbook.

Brand Palette

Brand Palletes are often the first thing item I start with on a new campaign. I strongly believe that branding across all platforms, internal and external, is essential towards creating a cohesive brand image. Even though colors may not seem like a big deal, it is an essential method to adding professionalism in brand communications. For Anna Banana's, the primarily color scheme clearly includes a bright yellow, black, and white. However, it is limited and not always feasible to only use these colors which is why I added a medium grey and a different shade of yellow. The names on these colors help to reinforce the fun carefree, even childlike identity that Anna Banana's has created for itself.
